For this first look I wanted to stay cosy and simple. Styling a very warm grey turtle neck with some black jeans to stay within the colour palette. The tassels at the end of this jumper makes me feel so festive, it adds an interesting element to the outfit. Something I didn’t want to over power with any accessories.
As my jumper had quite a tight turtle neck I used a different look with a jumper that had more of a loose turtle neck. The beige jumper you see Laura wearing is something I would wear for a casual Christmas lunch. It’s not too hot, very spacious (good for the dreaded food belly after Christmas lunch!!) and looks very chic paired with some black jeans.
If you’re wanting to go a little more smart to Christmas lunch, I found this light grey jacket (but I wear it as a top) from River Island. I love the simplicity of this jacket, it’s clean cut and still is fitting to the waist with a tie in the middle. Or if you’re looking for something more on the smart casual side, Laura is wearing an oversized pink jumper with black jeans, but to instantly turn this outfit into something smarter, I have paired this outfit with black thigh high heeled boots. This transforms the entire outfit from casual to smart casual, appropriate for lunch or dinner.
For the last looks I wanted to go for something that was more fitting. I am wearing a black bodysuit from Zara, with some black skinny jeans and a black belt with gold detailing. For Laura’s outfit she’s wearing a black skirt with thigh high heeled boots, as it’s winter I’ve paired Laura’s outfit with some sheer black tights. I would wear both these outfits to a Christmas lunch at a restaurant as they’re more fitting and stylish when out and about.
