This very local and chic restaurant, just off Las Ramblas is a great place to go for a quick lunch with amazing food. I visit here every time I’m in Barcelona because of it’s relaxed atmosphere and hardly any tourists know it even exists, my guess is because it’s so tucked away. Normally some street entertainers perform outside the restaurant, which is great to watch whilst eating. After having lunch here I tend find myself taking a short walk to my favourite dessert place just around the corner. There’s always room for dessert! (page about Chök here)
The atmosphere at Bar Lobo is so lively! I remember the first time I came here with my friend, Barcelona was a very daunting place. I had no idea where anything was! She brought me here and we sat outside, everyone was so happy and welcoming, the food was fresh and delicious. After a few tapas pieces he ordered the biggest and yummiest slice of carrot cake (my all time favourite cake!) for us to share. By the time we had finished eating here I felt like this beautiful city wasn’t so overwhelming anymore.
