Inspired by the colours of autumn, I have infused auburn, camel and burgundy into some of my favourite outfits giving a classic chic twist to these casual styles to wear on an out and about basis.

I love these burnt orange trousers! The contrast in colour add so much to this chic outfit. Using black as a base colour, I wanted this outfit to be bold and subtle at the same time so that these statement trousers were eye catching enough without being too “in your face”.

Black is a colour I have incorporated into almost every outfit for this lookbook. Black tends to give any autumn inspired outfit more of a classic/clean cut vibe. Plus, I love an all black outfit from time to time.

It tends to get quite cold in autumn, but not cold enough for a big winter coat. I love wearing a light yet warm coat during this season. A simple, clean cut camel coat is always a go to in my closet. It makes any outfit look put together and stylish. Or if you’re not wanting to go as colourful as camel, a simple dark grey coat goes with any outfit.

Underneath those autumn coats are a put together (yet effortless) outfit. A simple top with an element of interest, it’s all about the detail. The lace up style on my grey top adds a simple chic twist. On the white low cut top, adding a burgundy bralette underneath gives the outfit a pop of autumn colour to brighten the outfit.

Using black and dark grey as the base colours for these outfits, I have put one item of neutral coloured clothing on each outfit to break things up a bit. Keeping it simple yet stylish for Carina’s (left) outfit, pairing a light beige loose turtle neck top with her black jeans and dark grey cardigan to add a fresh autumnal influence. In my outfit I am wearing one of my favourite autumn pieces! My black faux leather cardigan from Zara that is suede on the inside and black chiffon material for the sleeves. This cardigan needs a very plain outfit to pair with, otherwise too much may be going on. To give it a bit more colour I added a nudish pink coloured top and some black jeans.

I paired a plain camel jumper with a tartan pattern scarf. Adding a pattern to block coloured clothing gives a bit more depth to any outfit. You could call it the statement piece as this scarf ties the whole outfit together, making it look more complete. Or if you’re more of a dress person and it’s not too cold out, you could pair a long sleeved midi dress with a thin statement necklace. To give this outfit that subtle autumn influence, I paired the outfit with some burgundy boots.

This is one of my favourite autumn looks. I’m a sucker for beiges and neutral tones. Wearing a beige tartan top paired with some black jeans and boots creates a classic, toned down autumn style. Or if you want to go for a look with more neutral tones, I found this beautiful nudish pink jacket at Zara with a suede feel! Pairing it with a beige top that has a metallic gold tint to it to add more texture to this outfit, completing the look with light beige boots.
